Tracy Lightner is a leader in the communities in which she resides. For over a decade, she has led others in the fight against obesity and founded the nonprofit ThickHealth.org! She and her two daughters met with city officials, schools, businesses, churches and the public. Their efforts have been reported on by major networks such as FOX, CBS, NBC, TBN and other media outlets. Her expertise is in Human Resources and Recruiting, Career Coaching and Development, Diversity and Immigration. She has worked for major national and global employers for over 20 years. She currently is employed at one of the nations largest home fixtures and plumbing supply companies as a Senior Operations Manager. Previously, she held the titles of supervisor, manager and director.
Tracy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, interned with the State of Texas in Human Resources and completed her Master's Degree in H.R. Management. She begun her first semester studies pursuing her Doctorate in Healthcare Administration when the pandemic halted her studies. She has always had a passion for gardening and farming and started to farm in her backyard in 2019. After conducting research of her family tree, she learned through US Census documents that she comes from a long line of farmers, dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. With the uncertainty of the global pandemic, she decided to purchase approximately 25 acres of land in Oklahoma and thus she moved her efforts toward building a farm.

Together, we strive to sow the seeds of a brighter, more resilient future rooted in reverence for nature, respect for each other, and a shared commitment to the greater good.
The day I decided to investigate what I had purchased, my daughter Bre Lightner and I travelled with some friends to explore. The rest of the day went very well as we found my parcels and began to explore the land I purchased for my family. Our Legacy.
Shortly afterward, I would host a Facebook group to bring all of the landowners together. To help cultivate the awareness that Yes I am a land owner and I am here. My daughters and some others consider me the mayor. I assist with ensuring there is communication and stay abreast of information and issues which impact our land and each other. I meet with local entities such as the USDA, the State Representatives and Congressmen/women.
I am so grateful to be here. That I listened to God’s still voice and the future of Lighter Legacy Estates & Farm will host its many generations.
Happy Three Year Anniversary!
