Welcome to Lightner Legacy Estates & Farm. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at lightnerlef.com, our products, courses, farm visits, CSA memberships, coaching services, and any other offerings provided by Lightner Legacy Estates & Farm ("LLEF," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Lightner Legacy Estates & Farm

Lightner Legacy Estates & Farm is a female-owned, Aboriginal-rooted organic farm located in Southeast Oklahoma and Texas. We offer organic produce, handcrafted wellness products (including Peach Tea Leaves), educational courses, children's farm tours, CSA memberships, coaching services, and outdoor recreation experiences across our 25-acre mountain property.

2. Use of Our Website

By accessing lightnerlef.com, you agree to:

  • Use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of others
  • Not engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the website or interfere with other users
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its related systems
  • Not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the website without our express written permission

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the website at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

3. Products & Orders

3.1 Peach Tea Leaves & Organic Produce

All products sold through lightnerlef.com are handcrafted or organically grown at our farm. Product availability is subject to seasonal and harvest conditions. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or modify descriptions at any time.

3.2 Order Acceptance

Placing an order does not constitute a binding contract until we confirm and accept it. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product unavailability, errors in pricing or description, or suspicion of fraudulent activity.

3.3 Pricing

All prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors in pricing. If a pricing error is discovered after an order is placed, we will notify you and offer the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order.

4. CSA Membership

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) memberships are offered on a monthly subscription basis. By enrolling in a CSA plan, you agree to:

  • Authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the selected membership tier
  • Provide accurate billing and contact information
  • Notify us at least 7 days before your next billing cycle if you wish to cancel or modify your membership

CSA membership benefits (weekly produce boxes, event access, discounts) are available as described at the time of enrollment and are subject to seasonal availability. We reserve the right to adjust CSA offerings with reasonable advance notice to members.

5. LLEF Courses & Educational Content

LLEF Courses — including Farming 101 For Children, Homesteading vs. Prepping, Land Ownership, Farmer Pandemic, The State of the American Food Supply, and Legacy Estates Wills & Trusts — are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

  • Course content does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or professional advice
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from our course materials without written permission
  • Access to purchased courses is granted to the registered individual only and is non-transferable
  • We reserve the right to update or modify course content at any time

6. Farm Visits, Tours & Recreation

When visiting Lightner Legacy Estates & Farm in person, you agree to the following:

6.1 Safety & Conduct

  • Follow all posted rules, safety guidelines, and staff instructions at all times
  • Supervise children under your care throughout the duration of your visit
  • Respect the farm, its animals, natural features, and other visitors
  • Do not bring weapons, illegal substances, or any items that may pose a risk to others

6.2 Assumption of Risk

Outdoor activities including hiking, camping, fishing, and interacting with animals carry inherent risks. By participating in any on-site activities, you acknowledge and accept these risks on behalf of yourself and any minors in your care. LLEF is not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses arising from participation in recreational activities on the property.

6.3 Reservations & Cancellations

  • Farm tours and event bookings require advance reservation
  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund or credit
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled visit may forfeit the booking fee
  • LLEF reserves the right to cancel or reschedule visits due to weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances, with a full refund offered

7. Coaching Services

LLEF coaching services are offered to help individuals explore farming, homesteading, land ownership, and self-sufficiency. Coaching is for motivational and informational purposes only and does not constitute professional legal, financial, agricultural, or therapeutic advice. Results are not guaranteed and vary based on individual circumstances and effort.

8. Payments & Refunds

We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated at checkout. All transactions are processed securely through third-party payment processors.

  • Digital products and courses: All sales are final. No refunds once access has been granted, except in cases of technical failure on our end
  • Physical products (e.g., Peach Tea Leaves): Damaged or incorrect items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a replacement or refund
  • Farm visits and events: See Section 6.3 for cancellation and refund policies
  • CSA memberships: Prorated refunds may be issued at our discretion for early cancellations

9. Intellectual Property

All content on lightnerlef.com — including text, images, course materials, the Farming 101 For Children book, logos, graphics, and videos — is the intellectual property of Lightner Legacy Estates & Farm or its content creators and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit any of our content without our prior written consent. You may share links to our website for personal, non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and all products, services, and content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
  • The information on our website is complete, accurate, or current at all times
  • Results from using our courses, coaching, or products will meet your specific expectations

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lightner Legacy Estates & Farm, its owner, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, products, services, or participation in on-site activities — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Children's Programs — Parental Consent

Participation in children's farm tours, educational activities, and programs requires the express consent of a parent or legal guardian. By booking a children's program, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of the minor(s) attending and that you consent to their participation in all associated activities.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Oklahoma.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
